Abstract

Mansha Yad is a name of well-known symbolic short story writer. In his specific style, he narrated and painted the real picture of both rural & urban life of Pakistan. In Pakistan, there is a vast difference between Rural & Urban communities in terms of living style, customs and standards. Comparatively rural area is not only more populated but more ignorant also. The entire atmosphere is overwhelmed by supernatural and feudalistic elements. In this article, the author tried to give a bird eye view of Mansha's stories to reach the roots of customs in a symbolic way.
