Abstract
The most important Urdu poet is undoubtedly Mir Taqi Mir. Along with his works, his personality always attracted the scholars. The Tradition of Criticism and Research on Mir is very vast and diverse. This article takes account of one era of this Tradition. Some important critics are discussed in detail here.
