Zohra Nigah is one of the preliminary poetesses who expressed the feminist approach in her poetry. "SHAM KA PEHLA TARA","WARAQ" and "FIRAQ" are anthologies of her poetry. She is in fact well known because of her feministic approach. She pointed out the social exploitation which every woman faces every day from dawn to dusk. In her poetry, we can see such an eastern woman alive. Zohra wants to gain that status for woman which is captured by patriarchal system.
