Abstract

Literature is a reflection of life. Not only it depicts about the existing society but also tell about the world of bribability i.e what ought to be or what might be. The research article regarding Faiz's revolutionary ideas in perspective of his first poetry collection "Naqsh.e Faryadi" has been evaluated that how the poet made people think, raised their hopes and motivated them to stand against the imperialism and other humiliating systems. By the virtue of these revolutionary thoughts, the poet lives as the celebrated champion of the oppressed. Faiz Ahmad Faiz, the writer of eight poetry books was a notable member of the progressive writers movement (PWM). He was awarded "Lenin peace prize" by the Soviet Union in 1962. The research article has evaluated Faiz's poetry in the perspective of "Naqsh.e Faryadi" that how he addressed the tyranny of the oppressor and wanted the downtrodden to rise against the tyranny and the despicable exploitation.
