The progressive literary movement offered freedom to changes of life and allowed scientific rationalism to flourish in literature. This movement made literature public and made it a representation of life and an adequate source for future development. People affiliated with this movement have raised their voices against hunger, social decline, poverty and slavery. Faiz Ahmad Faiz was the strong voice among the people associated with the progressive literary movement. Faiz put forward the slogan of revolution, which is why he faced difficulties in manila. After that, during the time of Zia ul Haq, Faiz Ahmad Faiz was presented as a figure of reconciliation against dictators. Sometimes due to polarization of views upon The Progressive Literary Movement, repetition of arguments and counterarguments cannot break the stagnant or monotonous atmosphere for indifferent reader of research journals. In this backdrop this joint paper seems an ice-breaker; seeking new avenues of research with a style of creative criticism
