Abstract
"Shumali Pakistan" written by Rasheed Akhtar Nadvi consists of two parts. First one is a narration of the importance of western area of Pakistan and the second one is a compilation of different selections from some travelogues. This article is a critical analysis of "Shumali Pakistan". Writer is of the opinion that the cited book helps a lot in understanding role of western parts of our country in national politics.
