Why Journal of Research (URDU)?

1) HEC Approved Journal

Journal of Research (Urdu) is approved by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (chief regularity authority regarding research in Pakistani Universities) in category Y. Research papers published in this journal are acceptable for promotion in higher grades and fulfill the criteria for the award of PhD Degree as well.

جنرل آف ریسرچ(اردو) ہائیر ایجوکیشن کمیشن پاکستان(اسلام آباد) سے منظور شدہ وائی کیٹگری تحقیقی مجلہ ہے ۔ اس مجلے میں شائع ہونے والے ریسرچ پیپرز کو یونیورسٹیز میں اگلے درجات میں ترقی کے لیے اور پی ایچ ڈی کی سند کی سفارش کے لیے قبول کیا جاتا ہے۔ 

2) Bi-annual Journal

JOR (Urdu) is a bi-annual research journal. Two issues are published every year, one in June and the other in December. So, the papers sent to JOR (Urdu) have more prospect of getting published than any other journal which publishes once in a year.

جرنل آف ریسرچ(اردو) ایک ششماہی تحقیقی مجلہ ہے۔ سال بھر میں اس کے دوشمارے شائع ہوتے ہیں، ایک جون میں اور دوسرا دسمبر میں۔ اس لیے اس مجلے کو بھیجے جانے والے پیپرز کے لیے اشاعت کے مواقع اُن مجلوں سے زیادہ ہوتے ہیں جو سال میں ایک ہی دفعہ شائع ہوں۔

3) Open Access Journal

Journal of Research (Urdu) is an open access journal. The research papers published in this journal can be read online and downloaded free of cost in PDF format.

جرنل آف ریسرچ(اردو) ایک اوپن ایکسس جرنل ہے۔ یعنی اس میں شائع ہونے والے تمام مقالہ جات مفت پڑھے اور ڈاؤن لوڈ کیے جا سکتے ہیں۔

Their Guidelines and scholarly contributions for JOR (Urdu) lend a hand in strengthening the overall quality of the journal.

6) Strict Plagiarism Policy

The manuscript of each research paper received to Journal of Research (Urdu) passes through the plagiarism test before reviewing. That is why we encourage our contributors to check the Plagiarism through TURNITIN themselves before sending any paper to JOR (Urdu).

جرنل آف ریسرچ(اردو) کو موصول ہونے والے ہر مقالے کا  ریویولینے سے پہلے سرقہ چیک کیا جاتا ہے۔ ہم اپنے مصنفین کو ترغیب دلاتے ہیں کہ وہ جرنل آف ریسرچ(اردو) کو اپنا مقالہ بھیجنے سے قبل TURNITINسے اس کا سرقہ ایک دفعہ خود چیک ضرور کریں۔

7) Indexed nationally & internationally

Journal of Research (Urdu) is indexed with the research journal database of Urdu in Pakistan i.e ‘Isharia Jaraid-e-Urdu by International Islamic University Islamabad’ and other renowned indexing agencies around the globe viz. Scientific Indexing Service (SIS), Scientific Journal Impact Factor (SJIF), Cite Factor,  Google SEO and RJI Factor.

8) Transparent Review Process

All the research papers received to JOR (Urdu) go through a transparent review process. Each paper is sent to two reviews i.e. one national and one international as per the SOPs of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan for its approved journals, after erasing the name of the writers from the paper. Publishing of the paper is subject to the positive reports of both the reviewers.

جرنل آف ریسرچ(اردو) کو موصول ہونے والے تمام تحقیقی مقالہ جات ماہرانہ جانچ کے ایک شفاف عمل سے گزرتے ہیں۔ ہر مقالہ، مصنف کا نام مٹا کر،  ہائیر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی منظورشدہ مجلات کی پالیسی کے عین مطابق ایک اندرونِ ملک اور ایک بیرونِ ملک ماہرِ مضمون کو جانچ کے لیے بھیجا جاتا ہے ۔ مقالے کی اشاعت دونوں ماہرینِ مضامین کی مثبت رپورٹ پر منحصر ہوتی ہے۔

9) Providing Hardcopy of the Journal

One hardcopy of the current issue of JOR (Urdu) is provided to all the authors/Contributors free of cost.

ہر شمارے کی ایک شائع شدہ کاپی مصنفین/قلمی معاونین کو مفت ارسال کی جاتی ہے۔

10) Environment Betterment Policy

Team JOR (Urdu) is aware of its responsibility for the betterment environment. So it tries to save paper, ink, energy and other sources which are used in publishing process of JOR (URDU) as much as possible. JOR (Urdu) encourages the authors to send their research papers through email. Review process is also carried out through the email to save papers and ink. Apart from all of this, Team JOR (Urdu) plants a tree on publishing of every issue to accumulate Mother-Nature and save Planet-Earth from Global warming that is a major threat of our time.

جرنل آف ریسرچ(اردو) کی ٹیم ماحول کی بہتری کے لیے اپنی ذمہ داری کو سمجھتی ہے۔سو کوشش کی جاتی ہے کہ کاغذ، روشنائی  اور توانائی ایسے تمام ذرائع جو جر نل کی اشاعت کے لیے استعمال ہوتے ہیں،زیادہ سے زیادہ بچائے جا سکیں ۔جرنل آف ریسرچ(اردو) مصنفین کو ای میل کے ذریعے مقالہ جات بھیجنے کی ترغیب دلاتا ہے۔ جانچ کا عمل بھی ای میل کے ذریعے انجام دیاجاتا ہے  تاکہ اس میں بھی کاغذ اور روشنائی کو زیادہ سے زیادہ بچایا جائے۔ اس سب سے قطع نظر جرنل آف ریسرچ(اردو) کی ٹیم ہر شمارے کی اشاعت پر ایک درخت لگاتی ہے تاکہ مدر نیچر اور زمین کو گلوبل وارمنگ سے بچانے میں بھی حصہ ڈالا جا سکے جو ہمارے زمانے کا سب سے بڑا خطرہ ہے۔
