Abstract

Saraiki Wasaib being the region of great Indus Valley has been the centre of learning. Its oldest city Multan too has been the central of this great Indus civilization. The historical journey of Multan is the outcome of its educational and literary evolution. The research and linguistic ideologies about the beginning of Urdu has shown that the beginning of Urdu and the process of its construction had taken its birth here in Saraiki Wasaib. The earlier specimen of Urdu language and literature are the proof this fact.
