Abstract

This research article deals with Naqad-e-Nazir in Urdu literature. Nazir Ahmad is regarded the pioneer of Urdu novel. His literary achievements have been appreciated for long. The criticism that has been written about him is satisfactory both in quality and quantity. Nazir Ahmad and Qurat-ul-Ain Haider are such novelists who have been the subject of criticism. In this article, the criticism that is written on the novels of Nazir Ahmad has been highlighted for the first time. From this article new ways of research and innovative propensity towards research will be explored.
