Tamsaal Kaari is a term taken from the Western literature and is a literal translation of Imagery. It means painting through words. In Urdu classical poetry, be it a poem, An elegy or a narrative poem, in the use of imagery has been a part of tradition. Nasir Kazmi makes a wonderful use of imagery in his poetry.
