Abstract
Begum Sughra Humayun was a recognized author, poetess, and social active member of women rights protection movement. She took written as well as practical steps for reinforcement of women dignity and education. She also earned popularity in the field of writing travelogue. This research paper presents her biographical sketch as well as an overview of her literacy and social contributions.
