Abstract
This article presents a critical analysis of the studies of different critics and researchers which are done to explore the poetic horizons of Meer. In this regard Persian and Urdu 'Tazkras' are always considered as the very first reference. The competitors of Meer, his pupils and lovers have written on the subject of Meer in their own different interesting styles. These styles actually reveal different trends of criticism that are still in practice. In this article the Study/Criticism on Meer and his poetry that has been presented in 'Tazkaras' of Persian and Urdu has been focussed for critical analysis. It has also been tried to bring forward three different trends/lines of criticism on Meer.
