Rashid ahmad siddiqui was born in Junpur but he completed most of his education from Aligarh. His opinion about Aligarh is of high esteem and this is what he always talks about Aligarh in his work. One reason of his attachment to Aligarh was due to the fact that although he was not born there but got grown along with educational learning.
