Wisdom has been an important issue for every nation of every time. Mutanabbi and Iqbal are also the representative poets of their language. The fame's cause of both is to take the wisdom as main topic of their poetry. It has been said about Mutanabbi: "Abu Tamam and Mutanabbi both are wise men. But the poet is …. Al-Buhtaree". And at the other end, Iqbal is awarded the title of "Hakeem Ul Ummat" (the greatest wise man of his nation). This is the common fact between these two poets. This study is as an evidence of this claim, in which a comparative review is presented & submitted about the wisdom poetry of both: Mutanabbi and Iqbal.
