Abstract
Prem Chand is a well known personality of Urdu fiction. He manifested social realism in his short stories and novels. His literary asset shows conscious confrontation. He depicts his social awareness or longings through subtle satire in a delicate way. He makes his reader promising regarding psychological conscious and perfect artistic skills through his style. He, usually, presents countryside life in an appropriate inactive way. He did not appear as passive viewer but strived hard to achieve ideal situation.
