This article throws light on a learned and a competent scholar of Quran, Hafiz Muhammad Barak Allah. His early life and family life has been discussed. Hafiz Barak Allah had written a Tafseer of Quran "Tafseer-e-Muhammadi" in Punjabi Language and employed and used great works of religious scholars of that time. There has been no serious research done on works of Hafiz Barak Allah previously and it is time to acknowledge his erudite and religious insight. His work is a proof that his position among religious scholars must be defined.
