There exists a strong, rich and established tradition of Urdu ghazal in Jhang. In this field besides the poets; the poetesses of Jhang have enhanced this field with their ability, talent and poetic and literary knowledge. The poetesses of Jhang, related to the high class of this field, have enlightened candles of quality literature and revered poetry. The said poetesses have strengthened the tradition of Urdu ghazal and have made the poetic field vast.
