Abstract
Before Sir Syed Urdu criticism about Urdu Ghazal does not connect itself with the subject narrated in it. It deals only with the poetic aesthetic only. Sir Syed is the very first man in Urdu criticism who analysis the subject narrated in it. He thinks this form may be need for moral, political, cultural and historical subject too. He condemns the poets who only used their genre for their falls feeling and the experience. He thinks that the language of the form should be simple and near to daily uses instead of constructed one or artificial.
