Abstract
Some people criticize the personality of Ghalib for his loyalty to British and give reference to his admiration of Englishmen through his verses. In fact it is not true. To ascertain his true feelings about them, only his Qasaid are not enough. We have to turn to his letters in this regard which were written without any compromise and real face of his feelings comes to the surface through them. Although he glorified them in his verses for the sake of pension but deep in heart he hated them bitterly which has been amply endeavored in this article.
