Abstract
This article is the evaluation of some critics who wrote about Faiz poetry with a particular state of mind. Dr.Wazir Aagha, Prof.F.M.Malik and Dr.Anis Nagi are of the opinion that Faiz as a poet was static in his thought, views and expressions. This article tries to seek the intention behind these assumptions. Dr.Aagha and Dr.Nagi basically belong to one anti camp of progressive writers and are considered anti Marxists. This is the reason they declared Faiz a static poet. This article exercises a practical reading of Faiz poetry and tries to set aside these assumptions or point of view with the help of Faiz own text. It establishes that Faiz was a dynamic poet and has an evolution in his poetry.
