Abstract
One cannot visualize that post colonial criticism would ever take its ambit of discussion such delicate versified art of master poets of Urdu having traits of Persian and Arabic tradition. Historians and scholars dealing with archives sometimes depend upon such verses to cross check the chronology. In this article some debatable points have been raised, whether fixed digits of some of the alphabets may be changed on the principal of phonetics.
