Abstract
20th Century Urdu Poetry a genius like N. M. Rashid, who did not sail upon popular legacy of ideas nor chose a very popular genre Ghazal as medium of expression but established him as a school of thought and manifestation of art. In this article efforts and works of a scholar like Dr.Fakhr ul Haq Noori have been introduced with a sense of awe, who is trying to dig out biographical traits as well as the Persian sources of inspiration for Rashid.
