Today Power, violence, terrorism and extremism are those heinous crimes that have pushed the world into furnace of war. The west still believes Islam as a religion of sword. It has not yet got rid of its bias or obsession that Islam motivates its believers to barbarism and blood-shed. In reality Islam has nothing to do with violence, public exploitation and blood-shed. Islam is convinced of attaining power and might but not for fascism. Whereas, we have witnessed even in modern age that so called civilized West is inclined towards use of unlimited power and might. In current situation it is necessary that all the tools of power - Violence, Jihad, Terrorism and Extremism may be viewed politically and in thoughtful perspective. It is also the need of hour that some balanced and humanistic ideas should be promoted to create pure human conscience and to harmonize different religions and civilizations. This publication puts up such a discussion in the light of Iqbal's thoughts.
