Abstract
Urdu language relates to the family of Modern Indo Aryan Languages developed during the last 1000 years of India. In other words this language is the manifestation of the attainments of Muslim culture in India. The influences of Arabic, Turkish and Persian languages are quite visible in alphabets, grammar and glossary of Urdu. In this article influences of the former have been traced.
