Abstract
Muhammad Hussain Azad experienced a particular state of mind in the last 20 years[1890-1910],which is called the period of insanity, but during this period he penned down 94 scripts.In this article a critic and historian of Urdu literature has brilliantly highlighted some of the factors and sources which kept private world of this genius over his public world. If it was a paranoid, which unleashed unending hallucinations and delusions to the mind of this gifted writer of Urdu. In the opinion of Dr.Tabassum, it is creative expression of Azad which provided exhaust to the writer.
