Abstract
This research article deals with the autobiography of famous progressive writers Ismat Chughtai, "Kaghazi hay parahan". It is a misunderstanding that feminist point of view has been introduced by "Literary Theory" of late sixties. Progressive writers like Dr. Rashid Jahan, Ismat Chughtai, Khadija Mastoor and other presented the women self in their writings. This paper studies this autobiography in the context of modern feministic movement.
