Abstract
Noon Meem Rashid is considered to be father of modernism in Urdu poetry. He rebelled against the traditional form of "Ghazal" and became the first major exponent of "free verse". However he showed great interest in compatibility, harmony and musicality. He also shows internal rhyming scheme with special balance in free verse which increase the pleasure and joy and highlights the impact of meaning.
