Abstract
This paper basically analysis the middle modern criticism in the contest of western criticism. In the frame work of the paper the limitations of the age has been designed in a manner that the Urdu critics of nearly four decades (1901-1940) will be discussed. The article tells that the second race of the Urdu critics was also influenced by western criticism likewise their predecessor the critics like "Mehdi Afadi, Niaz Fathepuri and others are some time seem to translate the works of the western critics of those time so this paper traces some points where these critics seem to plagiaries not even the ideas but also the paragraphs of western text. Especially Alama Niaz Fathepuri , Abdul Rehman Bajnori and Waheed-ud-Din Saleem may be included in this text.
