Status of woman in any society determines the conduct and civilized level of any polity. In Pakistan society a class of woman deem suitable paradigm for itself which is popular in west whereas in the Muslim world women are standing on the cross road in the backdrop of clash of civilization. In this article the socio cultural context of women with serious problems has been raised in the light of thought and art of poet of the east Allama Muhammad Iqbal. In this paper the evolution of Iqbal's thought has been raised regarding the role of woman in a society which is otherwise conservative but keeps high moral ideals regarding a civilized and cultured society allowing the woman to discover its ego.
