Abstract
This article is a qualified appreciation of the back-breaking efforts made by The Urdu Dictionary Board Karachi, which is in the December of producing her monumental work of the Urdu magnum opus. Started half a century ago in 1958, concluding volume of its first edition is in progress. Various technical suggestions regarding the structure of its essential appendices, shorter version and to anew its entire content is put forward in this article. Roadmaps for devising Internet Edition & Urdu Corpus on the threshold of this magnum opus are too mentioned.
