Abstract
Distinguished scholars of Arabic are generally convinced that Al-Kamel, written by Al-Mubarrad, is one of the most authentic and original sources of Arabic language and literature. Out of the four sources of Arabic language and literature, they consider this work the most valuable. In this work Al-Mubarrad has explained the rules and regulations of Arabic and has provided the readers with illustrations from the Arabic verses. In this paper the researcher, after studying the prosody of the verses of this work, describes the meter with their scansion. He also illustrates Zehafat (زحافات) and Elal (علل) to illustrate different theoretical and technical aspects of the language and prosody of Arabic.
