Abstract
Qazi Ibn-ul-Arabi belonged to Malki School of thought and was renowned Mufassir (Exeget) of his time. His ijtihadi capabilities cannot be denied as he gave numerous verdics on different problems. His Ahkam-ul-Quran itself shows that he was a great scholar of Quran, Hadith, Fiqh and others sciences of Islam. This study shows that Ibn-ul-Arabi was also authority on the contemporary issues. His legal, exegetical opinions were followed by the scholars to follow specialy on Fiqh (jurisprudence). There have been also discussed Ibn-Arabi's style of argument, method of research and the characteristics. It is therefore held that he will be remembered and honoured and his work will be utilised for the centuries to come.
