Abstract
This paper reveals a new aspect of Ghalib’s poetry. The newness comes from Ghalib’s observation and knowledge of scientific truths to which he refers in his poetic images, metaphors and symbols. Therefore, no reference has been made to this aspect of Ghalib’s language and expression. In this paper, data has been presented from some verses to indicate Ghalib’s grasp of scientific truths of his time.
