A poet, simultaneously under the influence of internal and external environment and conditions fulfills the duties of herald. That is why, at present, poets have depicted various conditions of violation, destruction, unrest and disordering different areas of the world along with the expression of their delicate feelings. In this context, there has been a strong tradition of writing up city ruination before and after Meer and Sauda. In modern poetry, there is no such tradition but many forms of annihilation of consciousness become a part of modern poetry. Poets have versified the ruination of multihued cities regardless of their geographical boundaries. All these ruinations are manmade and man's fate as a result of violation of natural laws.
