Abstract
The State of Jammu & Kashmir not only keeps a unique identity geographically but also in term of civilizational and cultural traditional, lingual, traditions, nationals at international level. This unique identity played here a vital role to make its educational and literary traditions glorious. Along with Sansikrat, Arabic, Persian and Urdu languages, and also Kashmiri, Dogri, Pahari and Gojri, the other regional languages made the regional's educational traditions strong. The names of Sheikh Yaqoob Sufi, Mullan Ghanni kaashmiri, Molana Anwer Shah Kaashmiri, Muhammad Din Fouq, Pandet Salgiram Salik, Pandet Harguyal Khasta and Ghulam Ahmed Mehjoor will live forever in the educational history of Kashmiri. Urdu language not only got the popularity commonly in the very short period of time 150 years in the State of Jammu & Kashmir but also became the way of communication among different regions and nations. Due to this popularity, soon it was granted with the grading of official language. In a very short time, Urdu language made the literary standards in the region. In this Article, the research and critical evaluation of the beginning and progressive period of Urdu language has been observed.
