Abstract

Intezar Hussain is superior to some of his contemporary fiction writers. He describes most of the complex mental and emotional events. He is probably the first writer to write the story of moral and spiritual decline from different angles. He identifies the uniqueness and personality of Pakistani nation and Pakistani individual in his fiction. Revealing the truth is not the only thing in his myths. In them different layers of human existence are revealed and only in this way the consciousness of oneself is possible. Intezar Hussain uses cultural and religious myths and folk allusions along with narrative language in weaving the story. He fabricates the story by combining the issues of his era with historical and cultural myths.  His unique style distinguishes him from other writers.
