Abstract
Haiku is a famous Japanese poetry written in three lines, and 17 syllables making a 5-7-5 pattern. It is a form of poetry which is true representative of Japanese culture. In haiku Japanese used to represent their feelings, seasons, fruits, beautiful flowers and birds and their cultural relation with haiku. modern Urdu poets made many experiments in Urdu haiku relating their own culture and environment. They specially used haiku in representing their religious feeling. Dr Muhammad Amin’s haiku marked by profound psychological insight and avoided portrayal of nature, in compasses diverse subjects that reflect both aesthetic richness and cultural depth.
