Abstract
Travelogue is the name of the historical record of a journey, from the very beginning one gets the idea of the journey. By visiting cities, regions and tribes, one gets to know the geographical conditions of the people, their political, economic and historical traditions. In Urdu literature, travelogue has a great, valuable significance. After Qaam Pakazin, there is a long list of travel writers. Among female travel writers, Salma Awan is the first to be named. Her travelogues highlight the suffering of nature due to climate change. Participation in the suffering of nature, as well as the journey of nature and the struggle against human domination, give Salma Awan's travelogues the dimension that makes environmentalism a fundamental issue.
