Syed Abuala Maududi has mentioned and quote Allama Iqbal so many times in his letters. These letters through light on the aspects of thoughts, trends and interests of Allama Iqbal. There is a similarity found in their thoughts. The thought of both thinkers shows their concern on Islam and Muslims. The main purpose of both personalities was the revolution of Islam. Allama Iqbal was greatly impressed by the magazine “Tarjuman ul Quran” by Maududi. Allama Iqbal and Syed Maududi established the institute “Darul Islam” for the grooming of Muslims.
