Abstract
“Ishq" (Love) has been an integral part of Urdu poetry from its inception. From the early days of Deccan to the present era, love has been the central theme for poets, regardless of their stature. Whether it flows in the waves of metaphorical love or surges in the unquenchable sea of divine love, it remains an awe-inspiring presence. In this context, every poet brings forth new interpretations of love, and in the verses of those who stand out in the realms of thought and art, a specific 'Lover's Perception' emerges.
Ahmed Faraz is a prominent poet of the fourth quarter of the twentieth century. He is a representative poet of modern times both within Pakistan and beyond its borders. While his poetry is a central point of research on various aspects of contemporary life, including linguistic diversity, romantic thoughts, resistance elements, and progressive ideologies, his Lover's Perception' also conceals various dimensions. Especially the resistant Character of his lover; whether it is in a political, religious or social context, but this important topic has not been given the attention it deserves in terms of research. Through this Article Ahmad Faraz Lover Perception' will be analyzed in political, social and religious perspective.
