Abstract

Dr. Saleem Akhtar is a famous psychological critic. His domain of criticism is spread over more than 50 years. In psychological criticism, he has paved base for a new critical approach and a distinctive genre. He reaches to the sub-consciousness of the artist in analysis of creativity and reaches to the depth of facts through a difficult way. His criticism is a process of finding the truth in which has empowered his words. In psychological criticism of Urdu, he has proved his best abilities by identifying distinctive and new trends.
