Abstract

In this article, the introduction, purpose and signification of the Holy Quran has been described. The literary persons and poets of Arabia were so impressed by the words and meanings of the Quran and its ways that we see a sublime impact of the Holy Quran on their language, diction, ways, art and literature. This deeply effected the poetry and prose in Arabic literature. In this paper only one genre i.e. poetry has been analyzed: those couplets have been documented in which Quranic words, ways of description, Quranic themes and events have been highlighted.
