Abstract

Thinking of "The Gharana", we deem concept of a well prosperous and happy family. In the Art of Music "Gharana" is purely a scholarly and Cultural term. Muslims introduced "Gharana Gayke" in India. Gharana conventions replaced previously established Matts and 'Banies'.  Astonishingly, no Hindu singer established any Gharana. Rather all great Hindu singers attached to Muslim Gharanas. In this article important questions have been raised. That may deal Gharana and its nature, how Gharana comes into being, which plays more effective role in Gharana making; is its either time factor or style. In this article I discussed those Gharanas wich are based on Pakistani homeland. Those Gharanas established great traditions of classical music in Pakistan.
