Abstract

Syed Sibt-e-Hassan was a Marxist Idealist and Radical Laureate. He had great contribution in Urdu Journalism, Political and Social Science, Literature, History and Culture. He put-new light through his writings for the promotion of Scientific Rational Approach to strengthen the foundation for the critical thought process to uphold democratic values in the society. Stereotype customs and clutches and superstition of the past were interpreted in a new way under the light of historical and Marxist perspective to harmonize the contemporary compulsions. Theological based approach and interpretation regarding religion, society and culture imposed the inertia in the society, were confronted with on the basis of logic reasoning and inference. This abstract is a subtle analysis of the ideas and thoughts of Syed Sibt-e-Hassan through which new arena of his genius is exposed.
