Abstract

"Metaphor" is one of the most important elements  of the 'Art of description'. The use of metaphor in 'Poetry and Literature' is based upon aesthetic values. The fundamental difference between 'Literature and Non-Literature' is of metaphorical and non-metaphorical style. Other subjects like History, Journalism and Political Science make use of a language that is Usually, more descriptive than metaphorical keeping in mind. The importance, basic concepts  and usefullness of  'Metaphor' a humble effort has been made to debates in the manner  of research in the presented  thesis.
