Abstract

Drama is the important genre of Urdu literature. Drama shows its all aspects when it performs at stage and becomes the part of theatrical activities. The study presents chronological analysis of Urdu drama and theatre. Playwright and drama director form the style and dramatic presentation of the drama which plays a key role in the development of theatrical dynamics. Moreover, drama depicts the cultural, social and civic sense of the society which transform with the passage of time.
