Abstract

Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and his compeers flourished devotedness and scientific tendencies in literature. As a response, romantic tendencies in Urdu literature also come to the forefront. These tendencies in a way become a movement and influenced Urdu literature. Hijab Imtiaz Ali is one of those representative feminist spokespersons of Urdu fiction who were affected by this tendency. Her romance is not only an illusion far away from the world of reality but she also gives vent to her views about the world of prospects. The following article covers the very fabulous themes of Hijab Imtiaz Ali.
