This paper reveal some aspects of the criticism of Dr. M. Ali Siddique it tells us that Dr. M. Ali Siddique is a progressive critic he tried to introduce Marxist ideology in Urdu criticism he is the critics who wrote against the modern literary movements like Jadeedyat structuralism and post modernism. He is the very fast Urdu critics who not only introduce the relation of linguistics to the criticism but also told the Urdu literary tradition, the trend of this type of criticism our anti progressive.
