Abstract

'Heer Waris Shah' enjoys an undeniable repute in Punjabi Classics. It incorporates the language, culture and civilization of Punjab under one umbrella. This article analyzes a misunderstanding related to 'Heer Waris Shah', with reference to Syed Ali Abbas Jalalpuri, on rational and scientific basis. In the light of scientific attitude, some new perspectives of 'Heer Waris Shah' are raised in one place and some old concepts are abandoned on the other.
