Criticism of Shams-ur-Rehman Farooqi (In the Context of Hassan Askari's School of Thought)

Shams Ur Rehman Farooqi is a well known and very credible name in Urdu literature and Urdu criticism. He is also a profound scholar of international literature. His criticism is supported by his deep insight and great power to write. He is really a perception and ideas building critic. In this article the influences of Muhammad Hassan Askari on Farooqi, have been evaluated. It has been highlighted how he has retrieved insight and power from Askari whose greatness lies in his critical stance about the statuesque. Farooqi has inherited the same greatness in his criticism very beautifully and gracefully.
